Katie's First Communion

Katie made her first communion at the 5:15 Mass on May 2. I was fortunate enough to get the Friday night off. We spent the morning cleaning because papa was coming and going to spend the night so we needed fresh sheets and stuff. Then Katie and I ran to the flower shop to pick up her head piece then off to the beauty shop. It started like this.

and ended up like this 1 1/2 hours later. Katie has very thick hair, unlike her mother! When I went back to read this post of think of the days to come. Dances, Prom, weddings....Oh, you better get a job!


The day continued on to the church for pictures. Then for mass. Papa was a little late but you know how the saying goes, better late than never!

Dinner and baths are done. The curls are washed out but the hair is WILD!
