SPT - 8 at Meijer's Garden

Well this will be the last post of the month that I have to use an 8 in my post. This past week the kids had a day off from school for a power outage. We spent the day at Frederick Meijer Garden and Sculpture part. Here are a few pictures and some 8's we saw! If you want to check out SPT go see Lelly's site!
First we are in the Barn and have to guess the piece of farm equipment which is hidden under the number 8!


Here is the farm equipment, what is it called?




Yolk: used to hold animals together to work as a team. In case you can't read what is under the number 8!

Now just some random pictures from the day. The butterflies are in and here is one sitting on John's head! The girls and I with the Meijer's on a bench and you can't forget the horse, C is laying under it's hoof, can you see her!!

St. Pat's update

No one was sent home, everyone wore green and no one was pinched!

It's St. Patrick's Day

I am up way to early and going off to a meeting. As I sit here drinking my coffee I wonder what the kids are wearing for school today? They go to a Catholic grade school and wear a uniform. Can they wear green today? I think for fun I will just send them in green and tell them to tell the teacher I said it was ok! and if the teacher isn't wearing anything green they can feel free to pinch the teacher! Do you think that will work?

SPT - Self Portrait Tuesday

Well this is what I came up with for self portrait Tuesday.

The magic 8 ball on my husband's ipod. I asked it if I would win the 212 million dollar lotto for tonight
and the answer is "Signs point to yes", so do you think it is right?
